    Patient Access Supervisor

    Position Summary:

    Rogers is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for our Oconomowoc facility. The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to Patient Access Specialists and Intake Screeners.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Evaluates workflows for patient registration, patient screening, insurance verification, and scheduling for efficiencies
    • Hires and trains staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborates with other departments
    • Responsible for developing Intake Screeners and Patient Access Specialists to provide best in class service to potential patients
    • Conduct 1:1 to provide support and coaching as needed
    • Review reports to address answer rate, screenings that need to be completed
    • Perform Patient Access Specialist and Intake Screener functions to provide coverage as needed
    • Responsible for addressing escalations
    • Participate in the admissions leadership on-call rotation to support staff

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, health administration, human service is required
    • Master’s degree preferred
    • Min of 2 years’ experience in healthcare admissions or patient access
    • Previous supervisory or lead experience creating a supportive and caring environment
    • Comfortable navigating electronic medical records
    • Understanding of managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare insurance
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen

    Shift:

    • Monday thru Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
    • Participate in the On-Call, weekend, and holiday schedule, as assigned

    Location:

    Oconomowoc, WI
