    As a Regional Finance Manager reporting to the Director of Finance you will be providing the financial leadership to our business decision making with the aim of maximizing long-term value, cash flows and shareholder return within the Americas Packaging Division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in an Accounting / Finance role with 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment and will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for their Region to ensure we meet our business objectives. In addition, this position will offer the opportunity to work with cross functional teams to analyze data, provide management with a fair assessment of key projects including how we can optimize it in a way that helps to generate superior business results for the company; as well as support continuous improvement activities to achieve world class financial reporting standards. 

     

    POSITION SCOPE:

    Oversight of the Regions financial personnel and processes. Analytical support for all activities and processes of Plant Leadership teams in your Region. Key processes include monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans and compliance matters. Responsibilities also include: analysis and evaluation of the Region’s monthly operating results, annual budgets, monthly production and financial forecasts, and weekly results reporting. Provide analytical support for cross functional projects including but not limited to customer profitability analysis and pricing etc. 

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Support and development of Plant Controllers
    • Review and assist in the preparation of monthly Plant reporting packages
    • Assist Controllers in Development and presenting supporting explanations for month end results requiring deep variance analysis
    • Coordinate and provide analysis to the monthly forecasting process
    • Ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics to support reporting requirements
    • Maintain/Develop complex financial models as needed
    • Assure Plants are in compliance with the Company’s policies and controls
    • Analysis of plant results
    • Ad hoc analysis
    • Standards and Production Variance reviews 
    • Support the development and analysis of Plant annual operating plan
    • Support Plants and Plant Controllers as needed on special projects
    • Support Corporate Level analysis for key items as needed
    • Other tasks as assigned

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field required.
    • MBA with concentration in Finance (preferred)
    • Manufacturing experience (preferred)
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP R3 and OLAP tools
    • Strong financial modeling skills
    • Travel 25% to 50%

    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of project coordination and/or project management experience.
    • Practical work experience in the theme park and/or lodging/hospitality industry preferred.
    • Ideal candidate is proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a friendly, positive attitude.
    • Strong planning, administrative, and organizational skills; attention to detail a must.
    • Orientation of moving forward to drive progress, even when it is not popular or easy. Ability to be assertive when necessary to accomplish goals, while still maintaining strong relationships.
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with corporate, property, vendor, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines; proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly at all times.
    • Experience with planning and coordinating large meetings, trainings, and technical workshops.
    • Flexible and able to work effectively amidst changing priorities driven by business seasonality.
    • Computing: Microsoft office suite plus standard project management, PMO, agile, and financial software tools.
    • Potential travel up to 5-10%, primarily to support planned technology solutions rollouts at operating property locations
    • After-hours and weekend support as needed.
