Date Posted 1/3/2019 Job Title Intern Brief Job Description The Rolling Rock Club Internship program is a practical work experience within an industry leading private Country Club. The Internship program is designed to provide each student with a real life working environment where they can execute some of the principles, skills, and concepts they acquire in school. The primary focus of the internship revolves around the Food and Beverage operations. Extensive fine dining training will be provided; which includes wine knowledge classes. In addition to working fine dining, casual dining, pool facilities, catering, private party, and club events; Rolling Rock Club interns will be presented with a pre-set rotation schedule. This schedule will outline each department you work in, and the approximate dates you will work there. The following departments will be included in the rotation: Room/Private Party Reservations, Front Desk, Culinary, Fishing, Game, Golf Operations, Grounds Maintenance, Floral, Housekeeping, Building Maintenance, Laundry, and Accounting. Interns will also attend Food and Beverage/Management Meetings. A mentor will be assigned to each intern to assist them in their overall development. Candidate Qualifications Candidates should be hardworking, professional, and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills and a passion for the hospitality industry are a must. Educational Requirements Candidates should be actively pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
