    Digital Rights Specialist - Music Discovery and Rights Management

    WHO WE ARE: 

    Create Music Group is an LA-based digital music company that provides artists and labels with distribution, rights management, and creative services. We monetize over 10 billion monthly music streams across multiple platforms and have collected over $100 Million in previously unclaimed revenue for artists, labels, influencers, and more.

    We’re looking for a passionate individual with experience in music administration and technology. This position is responsible for supporting the Digital Rights Management team. This is a full-time position.

    WHO YOU ARE:

    • 1-2 years experience working in content management

    • Driven towards a career in music administration and technology

    • Knowledgeable on a variety of musical genres and cultures

    • Knowledgeable of internet and viral content culture and the impacts on platforms like YouTube and TikTok

    • A spreadsheet guru: you love working with data and large sets of information

    • Detail oriented: great at recognizing small details and patterns in data

    • Well organized

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Proficient/familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Apps

    BONUS POINTS: 

    • YouTube backend experience (YouTube Creator Studio/ Content Manager)

    • Experience in content management systems for Facebook and TikTok

    • Knowledge of Slack

    • Knowledge of project management platforms Asana and Jira

    • Experience with independent music distribution platforms like DistroKid, TuneCore, Label Engine, CD Baby, etc.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organizing recurring spreadsheets

    • Internal audit reporting and tracking

    • Conducting research for potential client acquisition opportunities

    • Onboarding content and catalog for administration on behalf of clients

    • Optimizing content for search engine optimization (SEO) and audience reach

    • Managing assets in a content management system

    • Resolving disputes and conflicts with 3rd party companies

    • Daily administrative tasks associated with music and copyright management
