RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- Work with business partners to understand their goals and objectives, develop analytic requirements, provide answers to business questions, make recommendations, and join forces in driving business improvement and optimization
- Producing, developing and maintaining regular reporting solutions for key stakeholders.
- Develop performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to be reviewed with senior leadership.
- Use data to tell a story. Conduct ad-hoc and in-depth analytics to identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional groups.
- Experience using SQL to discover, aggregate and extract data, Comfortable with pulling, joining, re-shaping and analyzing large, disparate and complex datasets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or in progress with a focus on quantitative fields such Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, etc. Postgrad degree a plus
- Highly analytical, accurate and with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions independently
- Willingness to take the initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities
- Knowledge of databases and experience using SQL to discover, aggregate and extract data is beneficial, as is experience working with large datasets
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Comfortable interpreting and manipulating data. Familiarity with analytical techniques, including trend analysis, forecasting, and experiment design.
- Knowledge of analytical programming languages e.g. R/Python a bonus.
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau and Data Studio
- Can-do attitude and learner mindset, eager and willing to explore new business/technical areas.
- Large dataset experience (e.g., GCP, AWS) a plus.
