    Art Loan Membership Coordinator DeCordova Sculpture Park & Museum - Lincoln, MA 01773 The Art Loan Membership Coordinator at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is a key member of the organizations Development and Corporate program teams and is charged with the daily management of deCordovas Art Loan Program, and stewardship of the Programs relationships with existing and prospective Corporate Members and Lending Artists. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Program goal achievement * Assists the Director of Corporate Relations and Art Loan Program and fellow department staff to achieve a program goal of raising over $700K per fiscal year in Corporate Program support; Art loan systems and processes management * Coordinates the selection of artwork for loan to Corporate Members in advance of rotation schedule and installations for over 95 corporate sites. Participates in studio visits and installations and independently conducts site visits as assigned. * Prepares corporate membership invoicing, tracking and acknowledgements. * Works with the Art Loan Inventory Manager to complete registrarial duties related to lending artist artwork location notification, including selection, installation, and rotation. Ensures thorough condition tracking of artworks on and offsite. Coordinate return of artwork in need of conservation or repair to artists or conservator. Stewardship and outreach * Assists Director in stewardship and outreach by identifying potential for expanded partnerships with corporate members. * Collaborates with museum departments (Events, Learning and Engagement, External Affairs and Curatorial) to plan, design and execute special events and programs including benefits and holiday fairs. * Acts as liaison between museum and corporate members. Seeks out opportunities to build meaningful connections between corporate members and deCordova. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Art with 1-3 years of development or program experience, preferably in cultural institutions. Prior art handling and installation experience of contemporary collections including 2 and 3 dimensional objects. Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Demonstrated planning, strategic and organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize work flow and timelines is required as is the demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Physical requirements include the ability and willingness to lift 25 pounds overhead; work on ladders and step stools during installations.
