    SUMMARY: From award-winning roller coasters to family rides that soar, whirl and fly, Silver Dollar City offers unique attractions for thrill-seekers of all ages. Ride Operators are the ones responsible for ensuring guests have amazing experiences on them. You’ll meet and greet hundreds of people every day, making sure each of their adventures is as safe as it is exciting. You will check restraints, interact with guests one on one, and ensure that all guests meet the rider requirements. You will have fun serving thousands of guests by safely operating one of our incredible roller coasters, carnival style rides, or water rides in a 1880s themed environment.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Wears a company provided mask at all times in accordance with CDC recommendations.
    • Wears other Personal Protective Equipment as deemed necessary.
    • Properly train to follow all company policies and procedures
    • Ensure guests meet rider requirement of assigned attraction/attractions
    • Remain safe, alert, and attentive to ensure guest safety
    • Physically and visually check restraints systems
    • Manage ride controls to safely load, unload, and dispatch attraction
    • Visually watch attraction for deviations in safety procedures
    • Keep assigned area clean of trash, natural debris, and bodily fluids
    • Climb to heights up to 200ft
    • Stand/walk for long periods of time
    • Interact with large groups of guests
    • Announce through a microphone safety instructions to riders and guests in line
    • Constantly interact with guest in a friendly manner
    • Work in all weather conditions
    • Complete a safety ride through or a visual inspection at any time
    • React calmly and quickly in emergency situations

    Required Skills

    CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

    Must be able to obtain and maintain an American Heart Association Basic Life Saving Certification.

    Required Experience

    Must be at least 16 years of age.
