The Front Desk Receptionist (FDR) provides customer service support to the club members and guests.
Responsible for running a clean, and customer service oriented club.
Ensure that you are following company expectations of being on time, and in uniform as required for the position
Responsible for helping members and guests
Ensures that all check-in procedures are being followed
Ensure proactively assisting members and guest as necessary (in person and over the phone)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for performing the following activities for the club:CHECK-IN COMPLIANCE (members & guests)
Greet all incoming members and guests
Ensure all check-in procedures are followed
Ensure Guest Registration Forms are completed
Enter Guest and Telephone Inquiry information onto the Guest & TI
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Answer all incoming calls and obtain appropriate information to direct/transfer calls/guests.
Handle general member issues, and know which departmental to direct member, guest, or caller to.
Record member concerns and know which departmental manager to direct concern to
Record lost and found items on the Lost and Found Log and secure items per policy
Ensure required forms are available, and completed and processed properly (e.g. Group Fitness Schedule, Club Rules,
Kid’s Zone Policy, etc…)
Promote and sell product (cooler drinks, supplements, smoothies, etc…)
Keep front desk, and lobby clean, clear, & clutter-free
Perform general cleaning duties to include locker room checks, towel laundry, etc…
POS SYSTEM (Point of Sale)
Operate the POS system and ensure that drawer opening and drawer closing procedures are followed
Closeout drawer at the end of shift and record/verify drawer income against actual received
Process all purchases through the POS system
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Organization skills
Attention to detail
Certifications/Educational Level:
High School Diploma or GED required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) from an approved organization (within 30 days of employment)
