The Assistant Membership Manager (AMM) ensures that the club provides a high-quality enrollment experience for new members.
Hires, trains, and develops (with support of MM) a strong team of membership advisors that deliver on company goals and reflects its values.
Responsible for the successful attainment of department targets.
Leads and develops the membership advisors to increase club revenue with an emphasis on new club memberships, personal training, and other services.
Models Dynamic Fitness core values during his or her leadership, to ensure high-level member and employee satisfaction

Senior Membership Advisor
This position conducts inclusive oversight/involvement of vendor relationships with MM.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The AMM is responsible for performing the following activities for the club:
SALES & SERVICE
Responsible for attaining (own) personal production targets
Responsible for attainment of departmental targets, (i.e. revenue and member retention targets, etc..)
Review daily sales numbers & club statistics with MM to identify potential revenue gaps & modify sales execution as necessary
Help to train and develop membership advisors in “outreach” protocols and methods of “best practices” towards productive outreach - outcomes
Leads the weekend production of all review lines, while providing support for operational and fitness departmental needs (cross-functional) as well as member relations
As revenue and staff levels decrease, the AMM will have increasing personal accountability for direct selling including the achievement of personal monthly sales quotas.
STAFFING & DEVELOPMENT
Assemble and manage a fully engaged and high performing sales team that aligns with company values and goals. To achieve this objective the AMM will:
Hire (with GM support), develop and manage the performance of qualified Membership Advisors
Train & develop Membership Advisors regarding Dynamic Fitness sales, and enrollment process, emphasizing the dual goals of EFT and membership retention
Conduct daily, weekly, (or as needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation, and guidance towards achieving individual and company goals. Offer career growth and advancement opportunities
Manage Membership Advisor schedule within budgeted hours submitted to and approved by GM
Mediate club employee relations matters for all club sales employees
Discipline staff under the guidance of the GM and consult with the HR Manager for additional direction
MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT
Drive all sales efforts within the club including new members sales, EFT, fitness services, and other services. To achieve this objective the AMM will:
Set monthly, weekly, and daily sales goals for all Membership Advisors
Review daily, weekly sales numbers and club statistics with the MM to identify potential revenue gaps and modify sales execution as necessary
Help develop, execute, and coordinate local club marketing and outreach activities for membership advisors (with MM support)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Management experience in sales/service industry
Leadership skills
Coaching/Motivation ability
Certification/Education:
Preferred: College Degree
Experience:
1-2 years as top sales producer
Preferred: prior management experience in service sales industry leading 4-10 employees
Consultative sales experience
Preferred: experience in fitness membership sales
