As a Personal Trainer at Dynamic Fitness, you will encourage and assist our members with the guidance and education they need, along with proper food intake, supplementation, cardiorespiratory, and resistance training to help our members reach their personal goals set towards achieving a healthier, fit, and active lifestyle.

Can fully demonstrate proper exercise techniques to clients and members at all times

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Personal Trainer is responsible for performing the following activities for the club:
SALES, SERVICE, PRESENTATION, & TRAINING
Responsible for attaining (own) personal production targets (PT, Supplements etc..) as communicated in the Monthly Business Plans
Understands and can effectively communicate in club pricing and promotions
Presents Personal Training to all members and can effectively communicate the benefits of our personal training program
Actively schedules Intro-Lessons (IL’s) to member that are currently not enrolled in a Personal Training program, and conducts confirmation calls and follow-up with prospective clients as required
Assist (as directed) by the Fitness Manager, in working a Supplement presentation table, Body fat analysis table, Member Educational Seminars, and/or workshops, etc.
Can effectively design client programs
Routine maintenance of Client Training files (workouts, measurements, etc.)
Assist in implementing company policies and procedures
Re-rack weights and assist in ensuring the club is clean, neat, and presents an overall clean presence (the workout floor is your office – take ownership in its appearance)
Ensure the 5 Be’s of Fitness are followed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of proper exercise techniques and the principles of physical fitness
Must be able to operate fitness machines and equipment
Sales experience preferred
Ability to work with computers
Must have good interpersonal communication skills (orally and written)
Excellent Customer Service skills (active listening)
Independent, self-motivated, (inner drive)
Must be able to work with people in a “team” atmosphere
Certification/Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certified
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
National Certification Required
Experience:
Personal Training experience preferred
Physical Qualifications:
Ability to work in club office; move about the club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public
Required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting.
Ability to communicate telephonically with employees, members, and the public
Ability to access and operate company computer systems including prepare documents, enter data into a computer system, read reports from a computer database or email system
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
