As an Asst. Fitness Manager at Dynamic Fitness you will encourage and assist our members with the guidance and education they need, along with proper food intake, supplementation, cardiorespiratory, and resistance training to help our members reach their personal goals set towards achieving a healthier, fit, and active lifestyle.
Assisting the Fitness Manager as needed/necessary in achieving departmental production revenue and targets sets forth by Fitness Manager and assisting with Weekend Responsibilities
Help to train and develop Personal Trainers
Responsible for delivering a professional and positive experience for clients and members
Ensures safety measures and standards are implemented and understood for each client and member
Complies with all Company policies and procedures to include Fitness Department policies and procedures
Can fully demonstrate proper exercise techniques to clients and members at all times

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Assistant Fitness Manager is responsible for performing the following activities for the club:
SALES, SERVICE, PRESENTATION, & TRAINING
Responsible for attaining (own) personal production targets (PT, Supplements etc..) as communicated in the Monthly Business Plans; reviews daily sales performance and individual employee performance with Fitness Manager to identify and clarify the attention needed to achieve club revenue goals.
Understands and can effectively communicate in club pricing and promotions
Responsible to personally sell training, can execute an effective prospecting strategy and assists the advisors with fitness presentations as needed (T.O.’s)
Presents Personal Training to all members and can effectively communicate the benefits of our personal training program
Actively schedules Intro-Lessons (IL’s) to a member that is currently not enrolled in a Personal Training program, and conducts confirmation calls and follow-up with prospective clients as required.
Assistant Fitness Manager to aid FM with Departmental audits.
Assist (as directed) by the Fitness Manager, in working a Supplement presentation table, Body fat analysis table, Member Educational Seminars, and/or workshops, etc.
Assist (actively) the Fitness Manager with Training and Development of all new and existing staff.
Can effectively design client programs
Routine maintenance of Client Training files (workouts, measurements, etc.)
Assist in implementing company policies and procedures
Ensures Personal Trainers are productive, and that revenue and service goals are properly communicated
Handles customer service concerns
Alerts the service staff to repairs and maintenance needs in the club
Re-rack weights and assist in ensuring the club is clean, neat, and presents an overall clean presence (the workout floor is your office – take ownership in its appearance)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of proper exercise techniques and the principles of physical fitness
Must be able to operate fitness machines and equipment
Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
Sales experience preferred
Ability to work with computers
Must have good interpersonal communication skills (orally and written)
Excellent Customer Service skills (active listening)
Independent, self-motivated, (inner drive)
Must be able to work with people in a “team” atmosphere
Certification/Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certified.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
National Certification Required
Experience:
Minimum of six months of related experience in Personal Training
Experience in management/employee relations preferred
