Job Description

Equinox is currently seeking a seasoned Lighting Operator to work in a high-growth environment creating premium fitness content for our multi-brand digital platform. We're seeking a forward thinker with a "can do" attitude that thrives outside of the box. As our Lighting Operator, you will be responsible for supporting production by designing lighting looks, cueing looks in pre-production and operating a Grand MA lighting board during live production.  This position will report to the Director of Production and will support production across all teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop best practices for lighting in live production, midi cueing and brand looks
• Create a look book for brand productions
• Partner with Creative Director to design lighting looks and projection playback
• Utilize Ableton midi workflows to cue lighting movements in pre-production
• Operate lighting board during production
• Work with production leadership to build lighting looks for existing & new brand partners

Qualifications

• 2+ Years experience in a live performance environment
• 2+ Years combined experience in video studio and podcast production 
• GMA Lighting Board and MA 3D experience required
• Fluent in Abelton Live and working knowledge of midi workflows 
• Working knowledge of Resolume Areana software
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, proactive, and highly adaptable
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in a team environment
• Management experience is a plus
• Candidate should have strong interest in lifestyle and fitness content
