Title: Bilingual Membership Sales Consultant
Reports to: Club General Manager
Position Summary:
The Membership Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling memberships, supplements and services to potential new members, upgrades, supplements and services to current gym members. The Fitness Consultant may have additional operational duties assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct daily facility walk thrus to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
Generate appointments through member referrals, networking, formal presentation, public demonstrations, master systems and phone calls.
Conduct gym tours to guests and potential members
Maintain accurate records of all appointments, referrals, sales prospects and promotions. Complete all necessary paperwork as required.
Follow up on prospects, conduct gym tours for all prospects and enroll them in a gym membership
Stay up-to-date on company pricing and promotions
Promote and sell as directed other services and Fitness Connection products
Achieve minimum production requirements and sales quotas
Continuously sell membership services and Supp RX products as part of their regular sales presentation
Achieve and maintain a high level of supplement knowledge
Maintain accurate records using Fitness Connection master systems (TI log, Club Activity, Web Leads, Production Book).
Consistently achieve or surpass personal and club sales goals
Upgrade existing memberships to include family members
Assist with opening and closing of the facility
Assist with operational duties as requested by management
Membership Sales Consultant Daily/Monthly Requirements
Collect POS referrals from every membership sales
Produce 2 Buddy Referral units per day
Sell $1,000 in Pro-shop sales (Supp. RX products, drinks, bars, etc.)
Collect quality fitness goals on every appointment
Maintain 50% minimum checking per
Collect accurate draft information
Proper signatures on all memberships
Follow Fitness Connection steps to a sale
90% of members enrolled you must set a Fitness Assessment
Set 80% of Telephone Inquiries
50% show on Buddy Referrals appointments
70% show on Telephone Inquiries
Collect Floor Referrals
Physical Demands:
Position duties require standing for long periods of time, daily walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must complete the SRX Certification Training through the National Academy of Fitness & Sports Nutrition (NAFSN).
Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills
Front Desk Training (Policies/Procedures & Aphelion)
Ability to learn and utilize Fitness Connection membership sales systems
Goal oriented. Ability to achieve sales quotas
Basis computer skills
Must have positive attitude and be able to promote a positive atmosphere
Willingness to work flexible hours
Willingness to fill in shifts at your Home Club and other locations if needed
Willingness to Support & Participate with Club Promos, On-sites, Community Events, etc.
Must be able to take direction and adhere to company policies
Must be able to learn and adhere to new systems as company continues to grow
