Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to repair and maintain all building and gym equipment in assigned facilities.

DUTIES:

Diagnose problems and repair malfunctioning exercise equipment

Conduct a thorough inspection of assigned facilities and all equipment in assigned facilities on a weekly basis to ensure adherence to Fitness Connection standards

Maintain a maintenance log on all equipment and ensure follow through and communication on these items

Procure repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment

Work closely with equipment vendors

Provide exceptional customer service to all team and gym members

Prepare and follow through with paperwork related to billing for service work

Manage inventory levels appropriately and accurately

Housekeeping duties – keep all areas of gym clean

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Exceptional customer service skills

Mechanically inclined and highly organized

Ability to work in a constantly changing and ambiguous environment.

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Excellent driving record

Ability to work with a diverse group of people

Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and move equipment and inventory

Must be able to safely lift, move, or slide 100 lbs
