Development Intern Ford's Theatre 5 reviews - Washington, DC 20004 Internship Fords Theatre Society is seeking a Development Intern from SeptemberDecember 2018. The internship is ideal for someone interested in learning or expanding basic fundraising skills, by helping to steward a broad range of donors. The Development Intern will interact with the entire fundraising team, including individual giving and membership, major gifts, the corporate annual campaign, special events, and foundation and government grants. Duties will primarily take place during the weekday, but attendance at some evening and weekend events will be required to maximize the Interns donor stewardship experience. Some familiarity or previous experience with fundraising is preferred. The intern will learn through participating in a combination of both ongoing and one-time projects and tasks, including: Prospecting * Conducting individual, corporate, foundation and government research and creating prospect profiles to support the moves management process and an upcoming comprehensive campaign Communications * Reviewing development webpages and making recommendations for refreshing content * Working with staff on interpreting and disseminating Google Analytics reports * Assisting in refreshing current donor communications Donor Stewardship * Providing input in the creation of a donor loyalty recognition program * Working with staff to fulfill member and donor benefits, including exclusive tours of the Museum and Theatre * Assisting with donor mailings, including renewals and event invitations
