JOB SUMMARY:

Purpose of Job

The purpose of this job is to perform technical work in designing, developing, maintaining and releasing web applications following the best coding practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

· Develop software applications based on specifications.

· Provide production support for enterprise applications.

· Create/review technical design documentation.

· Developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria.

· Utilize source code management system (currently Azure DevOps).

· Fill out the necessary documentation for moving applications from different environments (Dev,QA and Production).

· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

· Performs software analysis and evaluation.

· Provides problem resolutions, troubleshoots production discrepancies and abnormalities.

· Provides system and application support to GLC office and departments as necessary.

· Prepares, maintains and updates files and logs following prescribed methods.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required and MCPD certification preferred, with at least four years of proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining complex systems on the .NET platform using SQL Server as the backend database.

Required:

Experience designing and developing service-oriented web applications using .Net Core, WebAPI

Experience with Angular, .NET Core, Entity Framework Core

Understanding of Web Services

Experience performing continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure DevOps

Preferred:

Experience with reporting tools like Telerik, SQL Reporting etc.

Experience with Git and JIRA.

Experience designing, developing, implementing, and deploying AWS cloud solutions.

Experience with Formstack.

Or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
