RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with the administration of employee benefit programs for SDC Attractions, such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, employee assistance, retirement & other plans.
- Prepares and communicates information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.
- Auditing and tracking of weekly benefit-related reports.
- Provides services to employees to answer their benefit questions, resolve problems related to access to or payment of benefits, orient newly eligible employees, and process enrollment forms, changes, and loan requests.
- Processes leave of absence approvals and rejections.
- Coordinates SDC Attractions Wellness Program, maximizing opportunities available to employees as a result of our contract with our Well House provider.
- Organizes quarterly PS/401(K) meetings for new entrants and collects paperwork for same.
- Maintains schedules for Benefits and Wellness related activities, scheduling appointments when required and notifying participants of necessary information and/or changes.
- Acts as initial contact for individuals requesting assistance or information from the Benefits office.
- Provides administrative support to Benefits office as needed.
- Serves as back-up to Benefits Administrator for designated requests and inquiries.
- Assists with implementation and execution of HR functions as needed.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have one year of administrative office work or relevant experience and possess proficient keyboarding, 10-key and computer operating skills. Applicant must have a proven ability to work well with a team, work with minimal supervision, prioritize and organize workflow, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Position requires attention to detail, analysis, and problem solving skills. Applicant must be outwardly and obviously friendly, polite and courteous towards guests and hosts. Must be flexible with availability during park operation.
