    The RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST performs quality imaging procedures at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Radiology technologists follow and use proper positioning protocol and use appropriate exposure factors and radiation protection measures to minimize radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team; and will play a critical role in the delivery of health services in an acute care hospital environment while providing patient centric care at all times.

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Valid BLS
    • ARRT (R) certification
    • CRT  (R) California Fluoroscopy license
    • 12-18 months clinical training in an acute care hospital environment
    • CR, DR and PACS experience

     Preferred:

    • Certificate from an accredited Radiology program
    • Previous acute care experience in a hospital environment
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
