    Summary :

    The Clinical Operations Services Supervisor (SUD) is responsible for the oversight of the MHAR services provided at Rogers Behavioral Health (RBH) according to the established standards of care, the organization’s philosophy and mission. The Clinical Operations Supervisor (SUD) works directly with members of the clinical team to train, coach, and develop staff providing clinical care. With direct service involvement, this position has a comprehensive understanding of how the programs operate. This Clinical Operations Supervisor (SUD) works in concert with clinical and administrative supervisors on performance improvement activities to the daily operations of programs, support the development and growth of new and existing programs, and ensures continuity and adherence of policies and procedures, quality standards, patient care and services, public relations, employee relations, fiscal responsibility, and clinical and regulatory compliance.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Direct service and supervision
    • Provide consultations and case evaluations as requested based on area of specialty.
    • Provide supervision and promote the professional development of clinical staff and document supervision according to regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain and assure consistent service delivery for patients receiving care through observing clinical processes and monitoring the fidelity of the clinical care provided in the program.
    • Develop and maintain standardized clinical protocols.
    • Offer ongoing training, support, and coaching to staff members.
    • Develop and monitor clinical leadership standard practice using metrics and performance-based outcomes.
    • Provide direct cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services to patients according to clinical standards of care. Document clinical services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations.
    • Assess and maintain quality of documented interventions, including patient care plan according to organizational standards and standard work.
    • Assure documentation of treatment plans, hierarchies and psychosocial information and completeness of the medical record.
    • Conduct periodic record audits of medical records to assure proper documentation for patients receiving cognitive behavioral therapy.

    2. Multidisciplinary team meetings

    • Engage within a multidisciplinary team; have knowledge and experience constructing and maintaining multidisciplinary teams.
    • Utilize and encourage utilization of patient outcome measures to drive recommendations for care.

    3. Training

    • Conduct formal training within areas of expertise as relevant to clinical care and best practice.
    • Conduct community seminars, lectures, and marketing activities to assist with business development.
    • Incorporate in protocols, training materials, and policy steps to ensure compliance with ASAM, state, and national Criteria.
    • Offer ongoing training, support and coaching to staff members less familiar with the MHAR philosophy and modalities.
    • Have understanding of confidentiality requirements that impact addiction treatment and incorporate this into supervision and patient care processes.

    4. Program fidelity

    • Promote a culture of outcome-based assessment and utilization of proven outcomes to drive care.
    • Monitor and share program outcomes to ensure health of the clinical programming offered.

    Required Experience:

    • A minimum of required licensure in the appropriate state to provide clinical services.
    • If required, a separate substance use clinical supervisor license and/or knowledgeable in addiction treatment.
    • Five (5) years of clinical experience preferred.
    • Experience with leading and overseeing teams preferred.
