    We are looking for a SERVICE SPECIALIST  AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS GROUP – PUGET SOUND

     

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    This is an outside technical sales/support position primarily focused on Rockwell Automation Lifecycle Services and NC Services.  You will be driving sales for our core services within the Puget Sound Region and Alaska.  This position requires you to have a deep understanding of the offerings, and how they support our customer’s business outcomes.  You will interact with all types of industrial customers including, end-users, OEM’s and system integrator partners.

     

    The Services Specialist will be a liaison between North Coast outside sales and Rockwell Automation, providing marketing and commercial leadership for sales growth, responsibility for supporting the commercial plan, and developing a competency plan to ensure support functions (inside/outside sales/NCAS) are adequately prepared to maximize share gain for the services business.

     

    Additional duties:

    • Responsible for defining the regional business strategy of Lifecycle Services including consulting business, CORE services, Annual Recurring Revenue Contracts and associated automation hardware and software portfolio
    • Serve as domain expert around Lifecycle Services business by continuously focusing on professional development and knowledge-sharing with internal services and sales resources
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, inside sales, outside sales and operations to deliver on profitable growth
    • Incorporate value-added services within customer project proposals and product-centric engagements
    • Develop Partner Performance Reporting goals and metrics, and lead cross-functional teams internally to meet and exceed targets for all areas of distributor-delivered services in addition to Rockwell Automation Lifecycle Services
    • Participate in account planning and sales strategy focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion
    • Lead the sales force in promoting the Lifecycle Services portfolio to existing and new customers

     

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

    • Self-motivated and Self-managed
    • 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience
    • Services experience preferred in Industrial Automation, IT, or Software fields
    • Ability to manage multiple partners and customer relationships while achieving target outcomes
    • Market development and program execution experience

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Frequent computer and telephone use
    • Office environment
    • Some travel required
