The Internship: Were looking for an innovative thinker who has the ability to generate excitement for their ideas throughout Live Nation to join us as a spring intern on the Promotions and Partnerships team. Success in this role requires a combination of strong creativity, flexibility, responsiveness, follow-up and follow-through, strategic thinking, and a hunger for the win. You will get hands-on experience in partnership marketing, ticket promotions, product management, and direct-to-fan communication and learn about Live Nation ticket promotions, in-kind partnerships, and the Live Nation Festival Passport Program. Learning Objectives: · Learn the process for developing Marketing Promotions for Live Nation Owned and Operated Venues · Partner with marketing, creative, media and legal to assist in the execution of upcoming promotions (including National Concert Week) · Track and analyze promotions to create recap reports and case studies to be used for best practices · Assist in developing/brainstorming future marketing promotions to drive ticket sales · Research past and present competitive promotions to evaluate the marketing landscape · Communicate with Festival Passport holders in a timely fashion, including: festival concierge, maintaining RSVP lists, update and maintain the Festival Passport Facebook Group, and answering the festival concierge phone. · Special projects as assigned Qualifications: · Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university · Must be eligible for school credit (able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request) · Majoring in business, marketing, communication or a related field · Must be at least 18 years of age · Must have an avid interest in music, knowledgeable about artists and genres, and an overall interest in learning about the music industry · Must be able to commit to 20 hours per week (Monday Friday) · Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking · Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint · Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills · Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks Additional Desired Qualifications: Basic working knowledge of Photoshop Creative thinker If the above description sounds like you and fits your background, apply online at http://www.livenation.com/careers to join the Live Nation Entertainment team today!
