    Veteran Apprentice Job Summary: Job Description House of Blues has a great opportunity for someone to join us in a Veteran Fellowship position. As our Veteran Fellow, you will be placed in a position based on your experience and career goals. You may be at our home office working closely with one of our departments. Department positions could include Human Resources, Marketing, Talent, Booking, Operations, etc. Alternatively, you could be placed at a venue assisting one of the following teams: Music Hall Operations, Foundation Room, Marketing or Special Events. As part of the fellowship program, you will be assisting your House of Blues team while gaining knowledge, experience and exposure to different areas of the House of Blues business. This program will help you learn how the company works, how each individual venue runs, while following the policies and procedures provided by the Home Office and how each department works independently and together to create the House of Blues experience. General Responsibilities: Complete projects as assigned by your assigned team. Duties can include: * creating training packets & materials, creating presentations, research projects, creating weekly and monthly reports, maintaining general follow up on venue progress and updating ongoing files. * Projects can be administrative, marketing, food and beverage, human resources, venue, accounting, purchasing & receiving or administrative in nature. We are looking for someone with the following experience/education and key competencies: * Ability to commit to a paid internship that can be 20-30 hours per week for an estimated period of 3-6 months. * Current or previous operations, production, marketing, restaurant or hospitality experience or education * Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing * Strong attention to detail.
