Manager of Commissions, Accounting
National Entertainment Network (NEN), a private equity backed company, is the nation’s dominant amusement vending service provider. Over its 30+ year history, NEN has defined front-end retail and restaurant entertainment with a diverse portfolio of offerings including skill-crane games, capsule toy/confection stands, video games, and kiddie rides. NEN has over 55,000 machines in over 15,000 locations across the country.
This person will contribute to our success by overseeing the Commissions Accounting Team.
This person is responsible for the daily operations of the team and ensuring accuracy of transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Supervises the day to day operations of the commissions accounting group
Ensures accurate accounting of commissions activity
Manages and approve all commissions payments
Assists with the preparation of reconciliations and other work as needed
Ensures all commission related information is properly recorded in the general ledger
Assist in month end closing procedures and reconciliations; including posting revenue and commissions
Reviews various G/L and bank accounts, as needed
Maintains high customer service standards within the department
Develops and implement new processes and procedures as required. Document procedures and train staff
Other duties and projects as assigned
Regular, reliable attendance required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does have supervisory responsibilities. Must be able to supervise and provide training to commission staff. Must be able to mentor, coach, and provide timely feedback to staff within their scope of supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple competing priorities with extreme attention to detail
Strong supervisory skills. Demonstrated ability to delegate, provide guidance and ensure completion of multiple tasks
Strong customer service focus
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): ability to present information in a variety of different formats to all levels of the organization
Highly motivated with ability to communicate change. Experience in a fast paced, large company environment
Ability to manage and lead team through changing environment, including organizational change and work flow
Excellent analytical and computer skills including Excel and Word
Regular, reliable attendance required

Pay range: $60 - $65k
