The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers, park their vehicle, and be a visible representative of Muckleshoot Casino. Responsibilities MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements describe the general nature and level of work only. They are not an exhaustive list of all required responsibilities, duties, and skills. Other duties may be added, or this description amended at any time.Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.Greet visitors and maintain a professional image.Open doors of arriving guests and greet them with the proper salutation.Assist elderly and disabled guests as needed.Operating Vehicles - Running, maneuvering, navigating and/or driving guest vehicles.Park and retrieve guests vehicles in a timely manner ensuring the utmost in vehicle safety.Write a legible claim check, noting any prior damage to the vehicle on the ticket.Ensure security of vehicles and its keys.Give accurate directions to guests when necessary.Maintain a positive attitude in extreme weather conditions of cold or very hot temperatures.Under the guidance of management and security may recommend alternative transportation solutions to quests that appear to be intoxicated, in accordance with established policies and procedures.Create, maintain and facilitate a positive work environmentSmile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanorPerform other tasks/duties as assigned. Qualifications LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS (required / preferred):At least 18 years of age with a valid Washington State Drivers license and clean MVR required.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required / preferred):High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Minimum one (1) year driving experience required.SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:Strong interpersonal skills with a guest first mentality.Ability to drive all cars in a safe manner and adhere to traffic laws and driving regulations.Knowledge in operating all types of passenger vehicles with standard or automatic transmission.Ability to learn and adhere to policies and procedures, respectful work environment, and performance.Must have the ability to document incidents and write up reports in an accurate and legible manner.Ability to respond and resolve guest complaints in a manner compliant with Muckleshoot Casino standards and image.Ability to interact with diverse individuals and function as a member of the team.Must be able to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.Ability to identify intoxicated quests.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Must maintain a clean driving record during the course of employment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.Position requires considerable walking and working on feet to complete assigned shifts.The ability to stand and work on feet for 8 hours or longer per shift.May need to lift up to seventy-five pounds (75 lbs.), occasionally higher with assistance.Neat, clean and professional appearance required at all times.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Applicants will be required to successfully pass a physical exam to determine if they are physically capable of performing the needed tasks of the position.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed outside with exposure to inclement weather.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Some essential functions of the job will be performed within a smoking environment.Monitored by surveillance cameras.Use of portable radio or cellular telephone to be in constant contact with department.
