Fall 2018 - Arena Event Services Internship - Nashville Predators/Bridgestone Arena Nashville Predators 16 reviews - Nashville, TN 37203 Full-time, Internship Nashville Predators/Bridgestone Arena Event Services Internship This intern will assist with event coordination and office duties associated with maintaining a very busy Event Services Department. At the end of the internship, the student should expect to be knowledgeable about how events in a multiple use facility take shape and develop, including effective uses of formal and informal relationships required by the sports and entertainment industries. Please take note that Event Services interns will have duties associated with both hockey related and non-hockey related events, such as concerts, conventions, and other sporting events. Requirements The following outlines the requirements for all of our internships: All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities The internship must be a part of the students curriculum The internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the students degree Interns must work a minimum of 32 hours per week, per semester Interns must be available to work event nights (Hockey and Non-Hockey Related) Interns must be able to lift up to 20lbs Interns must be prepared for long hours on their feet Interns must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players Internships do not provide compensation or housing Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with Bridgestone Arena or the Nashville Predators upon completion As a condition of internship, qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, which will at a minimum include a criminal background check and character references and if applicable, may include a driving history check.
