About the Role:
Join our team at Planet Fitness in Medina, OH as an Overnight Services team member! This exciting role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our members.
Job Summary
Overnight Services will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all infrastructure of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Shared with the present Overnight person.
Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and doing your best to make members feel comfortable and welcome!
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
Check members in, tour and sign-up new members, log amenities and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system.
Member Accounts:
Utilize POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address and billing or payment questions.
Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize all infrastructure areas,
restrooms, locker room areas, main club mirrors, and all floors nightly
Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
Stock and maintain the cooler and beverages
Repair and/or report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements
· Custodial, Housekeeping, Facilities Maintenance, and/or Customer/Guest Services experience is preferred.
· Punctuality and reliability are a must. 10 PM - 6 AM Sunday - Thursday. · Ability to work the third shift, Sunday through Thursday, is required
· Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
· Ability to work and solve problems independently.
· Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
· Maintain a good working relationship with other staff
· High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
Continual standing and walking during the shift.
Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
Will encounter toxic chemicals.
