POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to manage Peacock Gap Golf Club operations for the overall facility. The position will actively manage all operations including budgeting, strategic planning, staffing, organization, and training of Golf, RangeCafe, and The Clubhouse event center. This position will also lead and delegate as necessary to achieve objectives in revenue, event and restaurant sales, costs, employee retention, guest service, satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

We are looking for General Manager candidates who have 5+ years experience with both golf club and event center management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of golf, event, food and beverage/restaurant front and back of the house operations.

Must be 21 years of age.

Solid basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register/POS system.

Read and understand store level financial reports and supporting documents

Familiar with restaurant, event and golf equipment.

At least five years of hospitality, golf, food and beverage and event operations experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Bi-Lingual a plus.

Personal Characteristics

Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.

Education in field or related business preferred.

Knowledge of all laws pertaining to the industry, including labor laws.

Knowledge of company established standards of service, alcohol service, manuals, training guides and other policies.
