Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in from-scratch cooking, understands classic techniques, and can work independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and consistency our members expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients for service including chopping, slicing, portioning, and organizing mise en place

Produce sauces, soups, stocks, and other menu components from scratch

Execute basic restaurant prep and support line cooks during service as needed

Follow standardized recipes while maintaining consistency and quality

Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces

Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times

Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries

Work independently to complete prep lists efficiently and accurately

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar kitchen role

Strong ability to prepare dishes, sauces, and soups from scratch

Solid understanding of basic culinary techniques and knife skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong time management and organizational skills

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
