JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to perform telephone sales and related data entry work involved in the initial and on-going sales of lottery games and products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contact GLC retailers via telephone to place orders for instant tickets and monitor instant ticket inventories for these retailers.

Motivate retailers to maximize their sales

Maintain daily records of telephone calls made and tickets ordered

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with retailers and GLC Sales Representatives.

Determine distribution of ticket allocations and perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma (or GED) required, Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred,

One to two years of telephone sales, customer service and data entry experience,

Good organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Experience in operating telecommunications equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Previous experience in a call center is preferred.

Qualifications may include any equivalent combination of skills, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position.
