    Education Program Coordinator for the Theatrical Workforce Development Program SUMMARY Roundabout Theatre Company, one of the nations largest not-for-profit theatres, seeks a dedicated, personable individual to join the company as an Education Program Coordinator for the Theatrical Workforce Development Program. The Education Coordinator is a full-time, year-round position which provides the administrative support and coordination for programing related to Roundabout Theatre Companys Theatrical Workforce Development Program. The coordinator works with TWDP Staff and Teaching Artists to support the facilitation of all training and programming. The Education Coordinator manages all administrative tasks under the direction of the Education Program Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES TWDP Support the Program Manager and Work Readiness Coordinator with the set up and facilitation of workshops and training sessions. This includes obtaining materials, communicating with teaching artists, co-facilitating training related to technical, professional and/or work readiness skills, and supervising program participants Track attendance and training hours while assisting with data collection and reporting for the program and participants Assist with payroll and other necessary administrative tasks related to TWDP Assist with recruitment events and overall recruitment process Manage the Education Studio space and all technical theatre materials used for TWDP Coordinate the photo and video documentation of programming and events Assist Staff and Teaching Artists with various programming concerns Take notes during partnership meetings Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of new partnerships and programing Liaise with theatre staff and conduct post event reports General Office Support Utilize administrative systems to support programs, such as the increased use of the Tessitura database for constituent and program tracking Coordinate with Education Data and PD Coordinator to provide financial, curricular, and statistical reports for internal and external purposes Collect data, work samples, and photographs for final reports Contribute to development of protocols and procedures for tracking data Contribute to grant proposals and reports as needed Coordinate and support annual Student Theatre Arts Festival Support education events as necessary And other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will be extremely personable and collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and a roll up your sleeves and get it done attitude. They will also possess the following: EDUCATION BA or equivalent work experience EXPERIENCE, LANGUAGE, SKILLS REQUIRED Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience A general knowledge of all aspects of professional theatre is required; technical theatre background is preferred Teaching or education experience is preferred, but not mandatory Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills A strong team spirit and willingness to adapt to new and changing programming Comfort interacting with young adults, theatre professionals, and artists, as well as working in collaborative settings A sensitivity towards, and ability to, work with a low-income, high-barrier to employment population Excellent time management skills and attention to detail, ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, be a self-starter and problem solver, and be able to work independently as well as in a group setting Excellent Computer software skills: Tessitura, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred) Fluency in a language other than English, (i.e. Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic) is a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to lift 50 lbs Job requires the transport of materials to and from training and work sites Some weekend and evening hours required TO APPLY
