    SUMMARY: Create a safe and secure environment at Silver Dollar City Attractions by ensuring only proper personnel enter the park through Guest and Employee access gates.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Monitor park access points for unauthorized individuals attempting to gain access.
    • Operate walk-through and hand-held metal detectors as needed.
    • Identify and initiate immediate corrective actions to deviations in safety and security employee and guest entrance compliance
    • Take ownership of all entrance related incidents by responding immediately to take corrective actions.
    • Conduct business in a professional manner consistent with our culture, beliefs, and values.
    • Develop and maintain effective channels of communication.
    • Develop and maintain positive inter-divisional working relationships.
    • Identify and initiate immediate corrective actions to deviations in safety and security compliance.
    • Provide support to ensure safe operation of cash handling facilities.
    • Take ownership of all sector related incidents by responding immediately to take corrective actions.
    • Audit/inspect buildings and structures for fire hazards and other loss producing conditions
    • Audit/inspect/maintain all Park fire protection equipment and systems.
    • Provide EMS assistance as needed
    • Provide and participate in technical skill development.
    • Monitor and control access to building entrances and vehicle gates.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • State certified EMS 1st responder preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license required.  Class E Missouri driver’s license or resident state equivalent preferred.
    • Must be willing to work any shift.
    • Two years law enforcement experience preferred.
    • Missouri POST certification preferred.
