    JOB SUMMARY

    The Talent Acquisition Manager exists to manage and develop the recruitment, hiring, and on-boarding processes for all open positions throughout the Dollywood Company and to build strategies to support staffing needs.  

    SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Strategize, develop, and implement recruiting, hiring, and onboarding in compliance with federal, state, and company rules/regulations, to staff all Dollywood Company properties.
    • Hire, train, and supervise the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding team members.
    • Partner with the Talent Management Director and Executive Onboarding Coordinator in recruiting, hiring and onboarding Exempt and Executive level talent.
    • Collaborate with the Talent Management Director and Employment Branding Manager to build recruitment and advertising (paper, social media, radio, television, and others materials) to align with the Dollywood Company’s employment branding strategy.
    • Create fiscal year recruitment and on-boarding calendar based on The Dollywood Company’s Operational Calendar to identify need-based recruitment and prepare job fairs, media advertising, college & high school visits, etc.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Talent Acquisition Team and Hiring Managers. Meeting regularly to support and serve staffing needs and hold each other accountable to agreed staffing levels.
    • Working in partnership with Organizational Development and Training, ensure all Hiring Managers within the company are trained with relevant labor laws and best practices for interviewing and hiring quality hosts.
    • Manage Vendor relationships with Staffing Agencies and International Students.
    • Monitor staffing metrics utilizing SilkRoad Recruitment Software for Talent Acquisition.
    • Maintain and evaluate all Standard Operating Procedures for the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Teams which include but are not limited to: Candidate Pipeline, On-Boarding, Processing, Rehire Eligibility, Background Checks, and Transfers.
    • Support Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding teams through regular meetings, on-boarding support, corrective action (as needed), leadership development, and performance evaluations.
    • Routinely serve as Person in Charge of HR Operations.
    • Assist with all HR Events as needed.
    • Assist the Talent Management Director with preparation and adherence to annual budgets.
    • Manage employment issues through the company’s open door policy and address concerns requiring corrective actions as they arise.
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times to ensure that there is no release of information pertaining to Dollywood records, plans or any other matter without approval.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree Required. Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business,
    • 5 Years of Recruitment Experience, Required.
    • Theme Park Experience or High Volume Seasonal Staffing Experience,
    • 3 years Supervisory Experience of 2-5 Employees, Highly Preferred.
    • Experience preparing budgets and familiarity with Profit and Loss Statements,
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software
    • Knowledge of office equipment and computers
    • Flexibility to meet varying customer needs and to juggle multiple priorities daily. Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of employment law.
