Minimum Requirements: -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools;and -Experience with Food or Lodging license types, activities, statutory requirements and/or applicable rules;and -Bachelors degree in a health related field;OR -Bachelors degree (in any field) and 1 year industry-related management experience;OR -5 or more years regulated industry-related management experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the Bachelors degree. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for proper handling of Customer Contact Center Escalations to help ensure quality customer service. Serves as Dispatcher for the bureau that is responsible for reviewing escalations received from the Customer Contact Center and sending it to the appropriate personnel to be resolved. Responsible for quality reviewing the submitted escalation response. Manages Versa Online customer service responsibilities. This includes the Combined Plan Review/License Application process in addition to performing more complex determinations in problem resolution and procedural workflow. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the bureau that is responsible for addressing the customers question, work order or complaint. Monitors Tier-N email in-box and provides timely responses to inquiries. Researches Versa: Regulation and On-Base for license status and/or other related inquiries. Responsible for the maintenance of BSSI intranet webpages with current and accurate information, reports, and documents. Receive, review, and process standardization documentation for statewide inspection staff in a timely manner to ensure statutory requirements are achieved. Provides quality assurance support and services to the Bureau. Reviews incoming quality assurance documentation from statewide offices for completion and accuracy. Inputs documentation within HR training database within a timely manner. Handles special projects as assigned i.e., Excel, survey design. Performs quality assurance for state vehicle tracking, maintenance and financial records. Performs database quality assurance reviews for the Office of Plan Review. Performs other work as required. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: -Extensive knowledge of Versa: Regulation and On-Base -Advanced knowledge of procedures and practices applicable to the Division of Hotels and Restaurants and district operations -Good oral and written communication skills -Advanced skills for compiling data and preparing reports -Ability to integrate use of software and desktop hardware to enhance personal and organizational performance, including spreadsheet processing, scheduling, email, licensing and internet applications -Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures -Ability to deal with the public in a tactful and courteous manner; to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments -Perform data collection, word processing, email, licensing, intranet applications and other technology required by the department. Ability to work independently. -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others -Knowledge of laws and rules pertaining to sanitation and safety inspections. -Experience in a variety of inspection activities. -Ability to work on a team and participate in team activities.
