This position is a Driver License Examiner Specialist that is required to conduct all phases of automobile, motorcycle, and all classes of commercial driver license testing. Administers written/oral ,vision, non-commercial and commercial driving tests. Responds orally to customer complaints and takes action to ensure all issues are resolved satisfactorily. Will process documents and scan for authenticity. Will be required to travel to WEST region Drivers License Exam stations and maybe some statewide to administer examinations for driver license testing. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: KBI check and FBI fingerprint required due to involvement in application/issuance process for KS Driver's License and/or KS ID Card. KANSAS TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY APPLICANT: Each applicant applying for a State of Kansas job vacancy must obtain a valid Kansas Certificate of Tax Clearance by accessing the Kansas Department of Revenue's website at http://www.ksrevenue.org/taxclearance.html A Tax Clearance is a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that an individual's account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws.
