Talent Management/Production Internship
This is an EDUCATIONAL, UNPAID internship. Our internship experience is designed primarily for recent college graduates who possess at least a Bachelor of Arts degree and are interested in pursuing a career in entertainment or have an interest in Talent Representation and production.
Although daily tasks will have mostly to do with management, the president, Lillian LaSalle, is known to pull great interns into development on a project to help with research, script coverage, creating lists, help with casting and assisting with creating pitch materials, like lookbooks.
Our internships can be part time 2-3 consecutive days a week or 5 days a week for the right candidate. Our internships are available year round but we ask for a minimum four-month commitment. The ideal candidate must be in process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher. Our internships require a high level of commitment as well as extensive homework and therefore are available to individuals who are able to support themselves during their internship.
Responsibilities to include:
Sweet 180 is a boutique talent management and production company based in New York and founded by President, Lillian LaSalle. We represent mostly actors, some writers and directors and composers.
On the production side, Lillian LaSalle has produced several independent feature films, is a Peabody Award Winner for producing the web series, HALAL IN THE FAMILY. Sweet 180 is in the final stages of a 5 year documentary project, MY NAME IS PEDRO and has one animated project in development at TBS and two television projects in development.
The environment in our office is intimate. There is only a handful of us so there is maximum opportunity for an intern to get involved as well as be in the midst of all of the information, It's an open/loft working environment so we can encourage engagement.
