Responsibilities:

• Assist the payroll team with research and tracking of payroll tax notices from federal, state, and local agencies
• Support maintenance of a jurisdiction portal access tracker, helping ensure proper login access and documentation for tax agencies.
• Help reconcile payroll tax filings and payments by reviewing reports and supporting documentation.
• Assist in monitoring UKG Payment Services Gateway dashboards for tax filings, payments, and alerts.
• Compile and maintain tax compliance trackers and documentation to support audit readiness and internal controls.
• Conduct research on state and local payroll tax requirements and summarize findings for the payroll team

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate clear and articulate communication when speaking to internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors
• Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment by staying organized, calm, and focused while efficiently multi-tasking and working at a fast pace

Program Overview

Paid Summer Internship

• Open to college sophomores, juniors, seniors
• Relevant major or previous internship experience with interest in long term employment with us preferred
• 20-40 hours per week (based on project scope)
• Duration June– August
  • 6 weeks – 8 weeks (Exact dates may vary depending on student availability and location)

*Pay Transparency: $17/hr
