IMAX RECEPTIONIST-WEEKEND SHIFT

As a Part-time IMAX Receptionist you will assist guests with information concerning the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX 3D Theater to ensure an exceptional guest experience and transfer inbound calls on a multi-line phone system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Answers the Aquariums' main phone line, directs calls to appropriate individuals and/or departments
2. Provides general information to callers regarding Aquarium and IMAX visits
3. Monitors the Aquarium and IMAX Facebook page and responds to inquiries in a timely manner
4. Greets visitors in the IMAX reception area and directs them to the appropriate staff
5. Receives and distributes lost and found items
6. Validates parking tickets for guests with appointments
7. Accepts deliveries and mail, contacts appropriate recipient for pick-up
8. Notifies appropriate departments of concerns related to incoming

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Professional and positive attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple incoming calls in a calm and professional manner
• Must be available to work weekends; typically 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

PART-TIME, HOURLY; Saturday and Sunday work required
