SUMMARY
Develop strategies and tactical plans to drive leads, build and develop brands through media and communication channels, and develop programs to increase the lifetime value of members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties include, but not limited to, the following.
Strategic Initiatives:
Drive the annual marketing planning process to ensure it is aligned with company objectives. Manage the planning flow within the marketing department, internal departments and agency partners to ensure a seamless process.
Tactical Planning:
Develop and oversee monthly tactical plans to ensure they are initiated and implemented throughout the customer’s path to purchase – from brand media to regional/unit specific activation. Ensure that detailed timelines and deliverable schedules are set and adhered to.
Analysis & Measurement:
Set up KPI’s, collect relevant data (ROI, Cost per lead, etc…) and use data/results to measure effectiveness of marketing activity.
Budget Management:
Develop, plan, and manage monthly and annual budgets.
Social Media:
Work directly with the Social Media Manager to ensure consistency through all marketing channels
Agency Management:
Develop partnerships with agencies to enhance brand activation through on-going public relations programs and day-to day contact.
Manage all operations with different agencies on media planning, media purchasing and creative around all marketing objectives. Negotiate rates and fees as needed
Building Relationships:
Work with sales and unit management teams to ensure internal alignment and execution against all marketing strategies
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will have one direct report and will oversee relationships with all vendors and suppliers within the scope of responsibility.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Marketing
Bi-lingual English and Spanish – a must
Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing required. Experience working in subscription/membership organizations or in drive-to-retail environments preferred.
Considerable experience working with media agencies – either as an internal employee or coordinating efforts as the client contact.
