JOB DESCRIPTION:
Texas Family Fitness is DFWs premier fitness center for everyone in the community and we are searching for a bilingual, experienced Customer Service/Collections Specialist to join our team in the heart of Addison, TX! This position is ultimately responsible for supporting the club members and our Corporate office staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
High volume of outbound phone calls to make members aware of overdue accounts and ensure their account and billing information are accurate
Speak with members, working both incoming and outgoing calls, resolve billing issues that may require negotiating and problem solving
Administer all collection and billing functions according to required policy and procedures
Setup and maintain files, databases and records that may contain confidential information
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must be fluent in both Spanish and English and possess a positive attitude with a focus on excellent customer service, along with the ability to have difficult conversations while maintaining a pleasant demeanor. Must be flexible, self-motivated, work independently and have the desire to learn quickly. Strong computer skills and demonstrated competence in MS Office is required along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Call Center: 1 year (preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish and English required
Previous experience in a collection environment is a plus
