EVS Distribution Technician - Health Science District Environmental Services (9:00am - 5:30pm)
NEW POSITION SUMMARY:
Vallen’s Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)Lead is responsible for collaborating with key business stakeholders to provide expertise with vendor managed inventory. Works with key business stakeholders in the management of capital expenditures (ie vehicle purchases, maintenance, or leases). Leads managers and/or supervisors in performing timely VMI activities and warehouse functions in assigned geographical areas. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance ensuring customer needs are meet within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Guarantees that inventory audits and cycle counts are performed, and solution are found for inventory discrepancies. Enforces the driver qualification process for VMI associates in assigned markets. Ensures completion of preventative maintenance and adherence to standard process and procedures on vending hardware/software.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant warehouse, inventory (cycle) counting or delivery, experience. Associated degree in SCM or related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and a min of 10 years of relevant VMI, warehouse, inventory (cycle) counting or delivery, experience.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration (or related field)
3-5 years of experience in business analyst or process improvement role in an IT environment
Experience in process improvement / business process re-engineering
Action-oriented and a team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrix management organization
Excellent communication skills and professional presence with the ability to establish trust and credibility through a dedication to excellence
Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills
Critical analysis and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality
Experience with Azure DevOps preferred
Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed to support project activities
Experience working in waterfall and Agile technology delivery teams
