  • Responsibilities

    COMPENSATION:

    • Starting at $23.50/hour (based on previous experience)
    • $4/hour differential on top of base pay for all hours worked over 36 in one week
    • Overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in one week 
    • UP TO $3500 SIGN ON BONUS!

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Understand and demonstrate proper sterilization, biohazard and infection control procedures in compliance with protocol.
    • Demonstrate complete knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, maintenance, and proper tray setups.
    • Perform all chair side procedures efficiently.
    • Efficiently direct patient flow through teamwork and communication.
    • Perform all necessary lab procedures.
    • Responsible for stocking treatment areas/carts and dental related facility inventory.
    • Uphold a positive rapport with staff members and patients at all times.
    • Demonstrate safe and cost-effective practices when utilizing supplies and equipment.
    • Assist office in achieving defined goals.
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    As a Licensed Dental Assistant with our practice, you'll be the face of Metro Dentalcare and assist our providers in delivering quality, uncompromising care to patients.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Successful completion of a dental assisting educational program
    • A current Minnesota Dental Assistant License is required or in process of obtaining to perform expanded functions to qualify for this position
    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of dental records and documentation.
    • Ability to perform basic computer functions.
    • Comply with protocols and standards.
    • Exercise knowledge of dental instruments and terminology.
    • Support shared vision and values.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Maintain good records using Salesforce to track active customers and potential customers through the sales funnel over a period of months or years.

    • Meet all revenue and ticket goals as set forth in annual budget.

    • Communicate with all park departments on events, providing detailed information about in park group programs and events to help guarantee high service standards.

    • Maintain multiple accounts at various levels of development in order to productively work through a full sales cycle.

    • Develop an orderly solicitation plan for the state of Florida to include outbound calls to solicit key accounts, new business development and ongoing contact with existing customers.

    • Identify niche markets and create programs to target that market.

    • Assist in the creation of special events, park buy outs, catering programs and new programs to increase sales. Contribute to the design and development of all sales support materials; group sales kits, lead generation collateral, premium gifts, et al.

    • Enter client account information into sales or ticketing system as necessary, be knowledgeable of ticket types, rates and catering options.

    • Maintain a fundamental understanding of park features and have a solid knowledge of the park experience. Be adept at touring clients in the park for site inspections.

    • Follow up on leads from CVB’s, meeting planners, in-bound calls and tour companies.

    • Attend trade and travel industry shows, networking events and seminars.

    • Perform in a manner compliant with company policies and procedures, including cash and credit card handling.

    • Complete PCI training.

    • Maintain post event interaction to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints or concerns.

    • Coordinate all military ticket sales within assigned territory.

    • Other Duties as needed
