Provide Basic Life Support and First Aid to Team Members and Guest. Enforce Herschend Family Entertainment safety policies and procedures:
- Assess and provide BLS treatment for a variety of injuries and medical emergencies.
- Professional use of radio.
- Operate park vehicles including golf cart, van, and truck as needed.
- Determine if further medical attention is needed and make contact with outside emergency services if needed.
- Maintain accurate records and create reports for all treatment given.
- Assist with gathering information and interacting with lost parents and children.
- Maintain safety protocols and enforce all safety rules throughout the park and back areas.
- Walk the park daily and report any safety concerns to appropriate management staff.
- Clean the First Aid buildings as needed.
- Stock and inventory all supplies.
- Assist with logging and filing Attractions and Maintenance paperwork.
- Assist Park Security as needed.
- Other Duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Licenses Required - Valid EMT, EMT-I, A-EMT, EMT-Basic, or Paramedic license
- Minimum Age and Availability - Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must have open availability including weekends and holidays.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Required Experience
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Six months to one year related EMT experience.
- Some computer skills, including excel and word, plus the ability to learn internal reporting systems.
- Valid State of GA EMT, EMT-I, A-EMT, EMT-Basic, or Paramedic License Required. Valid BLS Certification Required. Silver Level Georgia Certified Work Ready assessment preferred.
