    JOB SUMMARY

    To provide guests with quality food and beverages and products, through proper steps of service and maintain a great work environment for our fellow hosts and vendors. Take and deliver accurate food and drink orders.

    SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Welcomes customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude.
    • Determine the needs and educate the customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions
    • Prepares and sells hot and cold beverages including coffee and espresso drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
    • Sells a variety of prepared food items; using proper equipment to heat items when necessary.
    • Stocks and presents food/beverage items to standard.
    • Orders/requisitions food and supplies through lead/sous chef.
    • Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
    • Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and credit card transactions as directed.
    • Participate in upsell strategies as directed by management.
    • Participates in daily line ups.
    • Practices service standards and current training throughout service.
    • Assumes duties of Supervisor or Lead in absence or as directed.

    • Able to tolerate temperatures of 0 to 100 degrees.
    • Able to work outdoors.
    • May compile objective and measurable data and produce reports.
    • Able to hear, see and speak.
    • Able to speak, read and write English.
    • Able to smile and make eye contact to make a friendly impression when greeting guests, vendors and other employees.
    • Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.
    • Able to sit and/or stand for long/short periods.
    • Able to maintain good personal hygiene.
    • Able to get along with other employees to work out problems and resolve conflicts.
    • Able to comprehend instructions and retain information.
    • Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Able to tolerate a fast-paced, hectic environment.
    • Able to be flexible to handle frequent changes in priorities.
    • Able to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on time.
    • May require operating knowledge of manufacturing or computer equipment, or may require broad knowledge in clerical or service areas.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Requires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field.
    • This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience.
    • Must be able to obtain food handler certification.
    • Must be able to obtain a TABC license.
    • Flexible availability to include weekends, holidays, daytime or evening schedule.
    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
