    Rogers Behavioral Health is excited to announce that we are seeking a FRONT DESK PCA in our Outpatient Clinic! We are looking for someone with a great personality and people skills! The FRONT DESK PCA is the face of Rogers, as you are the first impression for patients and visitors of the clinic.

    This role performs receptionist and clerical responsibilities related to clinic operations; as well as assist patients when they arrive for treatment, coordinate patient information and provide assistance on admissions paperwork, schedule appointments, answer telephones, distribute mail, and keep supplies in stock, set up rooms for individual and group sessions and assist in treatment sessions.

    MONDAY-FRIDAY: 7:00AM-3:30PM (NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS!)

    In this role you will get to:

    • Ensure patient environment is safe and orderly observing all safety and infection control standards
    • Monitor patient behavior and intervene appropriately in a safe manner using de-escalation techniques
    • Support the treatment protocols and report and record patient behaviors, interactions and responses to intervention
    • Collect and record critical data such as vital signs, weight and height in Cerner or other technology systems.
    • Accompany patients to various activities such meals, outings and group sessions
    • Collaborate with and learn from national leaders in behavioral health
    • Grow and develop professionally

    EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school graduate, or equivalent, is required
    • Certified Nursing Assistant certification is preferred, but not required. If certified by the state at the time of hire, CNA must be in ‘good standing’ with the State Board of Certified Nursing Assistant Registry
    • Two (2) or more years of college in human services-related field is preferred
    • One (1) year patient care experience preferred, ideally in a psychiatric setting
    • A valid driver’s license is preferred, as the ability to work in multiple locations is required. Driving record may need approval by Rogers Behavioral Health insurance carrier
    • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire. Rogers will train and get you certified if you don’t have this yet. Annual re-certification is required
    • Formal training in crisis prevention and intervention is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire. Rogers will provide this training and certification. Annual re-certification is required
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
    • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for a medical or religious exemption

    • Able to wear all PPE as required.
    • Able to tolerate all chemicals/detergents utilized in the area.
    • Able to be subjected to periodic random drug screening as outlined by company policy.
    • Able to remain attentive and alert at all times.
    • Able to memorize written safety standards and/or scripts.
    • Able to speak clearly to include the use of PA systems and two-way radios.
    • Able to work outdoors in a variety of different weather elements with exposure to bees, insects and wildlife.
