    POSITION SCOPE:


    Reporting directly to the TBD–IT Americas, the Manager–IT Lean Process & CI is responsible for facilitating and managing the process, planning and development operationalization of strategic process improvement initiatives. Ensures the improvement initiatives meet organization goals and requirements. Partners with department leads to ensure projects are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Principal Duties and Responsibilities: five to eight key responsibilities/activities for which the position is accountable :

    • Work with team members, and leaders to identify, prioritize and manage resource allocation to focus on best value creation from lean process improvement initiatives.
    • Manage a portfolio of projects that support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within the processes and identification of better ways of working
    • Responsible for the timeline, budget, resource oversight, and deliverables/results.
    • Facilitates financial justification for new projects, including productivity improvements and waste reduction; identifies and creates SMART goals for all projects.
    • Ensures follow-up on improvement events are completed, including scheduling, and facilitating on-going status reviews with all vested parties.
    • Assessing needs and use cases, design impactful and creative solutions, measure results, and improve onscreen training and tutorials across all systems to drive optimal outcomes.

    POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: List minimum level of education, special training, certifications, or technical skills/experience required for this position.

    • Expert lean, transactional, and business process improvement knowledge with at least 5 years-experience in this key area.
    • Lean, Six Sigma Certification required.
    • Manufacturing and Information Technology process improvement experience required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience required
    • Basic budget, business-case, financial knowledge budget and management capabilities.
    • Excels at building relationships within and across key teams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to understand end-to-end process workflows, identify key gaps, non-value-added activities.
    • Strong project management skills with proven ability to drive projects to completion with long-term sustainability
    • Able to influence without authority.
    • Able to thrive in fast-paced team environments.
    • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
    • Strong MS Office application experience desired.
    • Lean and process optimization tools experience desired.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Lead and facilitate cross-functional process improvement events using Lean Six Sigma principles, concepts, methodology & tools such as: 5S, Gemba, KPI, RCA, VSM, DMAIC, and Kaizen.
    • Lead and manage the completion of continuous improvement projects within a given timeframe to track and meet the department or facility goals in productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety.
    • Lead stakeholders through workshops designed to improve work processes to reduce cycle time, waste, wait-time, rework, and labor.
    • Partner with process improvement event team members and groups to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma preferred, but not required
    • 6 months to 1 year customer service experience preferred
    • Friendly, outgoing, and proactive individual
    • Cash handling experience
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays with occasional evenings
    • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check
    • Allergies related to animals or plants, which might interfere with ability to work, must be controlled by medications or protective equipment.
