General Maintenance Technician Waterford Harbor Marina - Kemah, TX 77565 $14 an hour The beautiful Waterford Harbor Marina is looking for a well rounded and talented individual with knowledge and skills in general maintenance to join our team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides general support for the Marina and Marina Maintenance Team with various projects.The following are some examples of what can be expected: * Repair and maintain docks / dock boxes * Perform general maintenance on docks and Marina property as directed by the Harbor Master- may involve structural work, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and pool maintenance. * Maintain a safe working environment for all team members

• Clean docks and facilities- assist in keeping the marina as clean as possible for marina members and guests QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate must: * Be self-motivated and able to perform assigned tasks with very little supervision from management * Be able to communicate in a professional manner- both verbally and written * Have exceptional customer service skills * Maintain a neat appearance and a high level of professionalism * Be detail oriented and able to multi-task * Have reliable transportation * Be a team player, have a great attitude, and be willing to go above and beyond PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
