    SUMMARY

    This position reports to the Executive Chef and is responsible for all administrative functions for the culinary areas, to include scheduling, production of menus, inventory, purchasing. 

    • Excellent ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
    • Self-starter with strong follow up and excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to consistently meet deadlines while under pressure.
    • Superior customer service, interpersonal, team building, conflict resolution and communication (oral and written) skills.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Assist in the Administration of the department operation (recruitment, payroll, scheduling, budgets, events meetings, purchasing, inventory, costs, vendors)
    • Create weekly schedules for kitchen staff
    • Coordinate between Food & Beverage and Sales & Catering departments
    • Produce and print menus per Executive Chef requests
    • Perform all inventories to ensure that all products are accurately counted and recorded.
    • Oversee all food orders and requisitions to maintain proper par levels in the kitchens
    • Act as the coordination point for all activities in the office
    • Organize the filing of printed reports from daily operation. 
    • Prepare any paperwork required by department
    • Attend BEO (events detail information) and departmental meetings.

     

    _Work schedule: Flexible to work overtime, particularly during high season (May-Sept). _

    Ability to work a flexible schedule to work Weekends, AM/PM and Holidays.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma required. College degree preferred.
    • Previous strong administrative experience preferred
    • Some food and beverage experience is a plus
    • Proficiency in Purchasing Software to produce Purchase Orders and Requisitions. Knowledge of Cedar Creek a plus. Previous knowledge of Jonas POS System preferred.
    • Frequent Standing for extended periods of time. Frequent Walking to collect or deliver goods in various indoor and outdoor locations of the Club. Regular Lifting up to 20lbs.
