JOB TITLE: Shuttle Bus Driver

REPORTS TO: Assistant Director & Director of Security

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, $25 hourly pay – non-exempt

Position available: 9:30 AM – 6:00pm Monday – Friday 6/26/23 – 8/4/23

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

The Shuttle bus driver will transport club members to and from the Main club (99 Biltmore Ave Rye, NY 10580) and our Beach Club (199 Manursing Way Rye, NY 10580) with a 15 passenger shuttle van. The driver will make continuous loops between the 2 clubs during their shift.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks on the vehicle and its special equipment to determine if there is sufficient fuel supply and if equipment such as steering gear, brakes, tires, etc. are in good working condition.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s license (CDL license not required)
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be in proper uniform
• Act professional and courteous to all members
• Shuttle bus driver experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Visual acuity with or without vision aids, ability to distinguish colors. Be free of impairment of the use of a foot, leg, hand, finger, or an arm, or other structural defects of limitations likely to interfere with the ability to safely control a shuttle bus. • Depressing fuel and brake pedal with right foot and leg requiring 70 psi.
