GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for operations and associate supervision of restaurants and food service at the New York Aquarium. Examples of Typical Tasks:

1. Food preparation, food quality, food presentation
2. Customer service, customer expectations and enhancement
3. DOH compliance, unit cleanliness, equipment maintenance
4. Organizational standards and controls
5. Hiring, scheduling, training and associate management
6. Enforces the Wildlife Conservation Society’s visitors’ rules and regulations along with those of the Department of Parks of the City of New York.
7. Performs related tasks and duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

High school is required and college degree is preferred. Three years food service management experience. EMPLOYEE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS & ALL HOLIDAYS
