FounderMade is a platform to discover best-in-class consumer brands enabling companies to market their businesses in new ways to retailers, distributors, investors, corporations and consumers. We create experiences both online and offline that help our curated community build strong and targeted relationships.

FounderMade is seeking a versatile, hard-working, and talented intern who is passionate about our brand to join our retailer team in New York. As a Retailer Intern, you will help to nurture current relationships with retailers, distributors, and buyers, as well as establish new ones. During your internship you will work closely with your supervisor and have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of a company focused on the CPG space. This internship will include learning about buyer and merchandiser outreach and support. All interns receive hands-on mentoring and training at our office in SoHo.

Internships are unpaid, and last for three to six months.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support outreach to buyers and merchandisers
• Help to forge and cultivate relationships with retailers
• Nurture already established relationships
• Help to bring business opportunities to FounderMade and raise awareness of the company among high end retailers
• Work on other special projects and events as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be in NYC or surrounding area
• Must be currently enrolled in college; recent grads (within one year) will also be considered.
• Must have a MacBook you can bring with you to the office.
• Familiarity with Apple Keynote preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.
• Organized and detailed oriented.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Ability to work 15-30 hours per week.
